This poster was displayed in the aquarium to let guests know the Tropical Rain Forest will be returning at a later date. This was a collaborative project I made with the design team at The National Aquarium.
I used Photoshop to illustrate the scarlet macaw and the building. The bright colors fit within the aquarium’s brand guide so all illustrations look uniform.
A social media presence is important to spread the word about new events at the aquarium! The National Aquarium frequently shares news and information on their Instagram account. In this project, I worked with the illustrator to promote the City Nature Challenge where people find and document wildlife in urban areas.
I was asked to illustrate five plants and animals native to eastern North America. I illustrated the monarch butterfly, river birch tree, Christmas fern, eastern chipmunk and great blue heron. Each illustration was made in Photoshop.
